From the curb at 2238 Cross St in South Philadelphia, the black SUV anchors the block with a continuous chrome beltline catching afternoon light. Since January 2026 this work has occupied the curb, a durable fixture within the familiar rhythm of the street. Its polished surface reads as an urban monument to lingering presence, while the neighboring vehicle and the reflected facades frame it as a passive witness to daily life.
