Seen at the curb, the white SUV's tinted rear window and blank license plate recess anchor the composition. Since its acquisition in January 2026, the piece has occupied this same curb, indexing the continuity of curbside presence. The juxtaposition with a nearby construction facade, portable toilet, and overhead utilities situates the piece at a boundary between habitation and work. As a record of municipal time, it preserves the visual tension between mobility and stoppage that characterizes this neighborhood's curbside experience.
