Curatorial note

Seen at the corner, the three yellow signal housings stacked on a brown pole establish a vertical rhythm that anchors the corner beneath the blue overpass. Acquired February 2026, this piece monitors the intersection where municipal hardware, signage, and architecture converge. The work treats a routine element of the streetscape as a durable sculpture, preserving a moment when infrastructure becomes a long‑standing feature of West Philadelphia.
