Curatorial note

From the curb at Pechin Street, the front-left corner reveals a missing bumper and exposed inner fascia, a detail that anchors the work's meditation on mobility and maintenance. Acquired February 2026, the piece lingers at this curb, its presence intensified by winter light and the adjacent crack in the pavement. The surrounding debris and the car's scraped surfaces remind viewers of the material life of a city where vehicles become public fixtures. Seen as part of a small family of long-duration curbside presences, it occupies the edge between private thresholds and the public street.
