Curatorial note

Seen at night, the longitudinal crack bisects the foreground and extends toward the crosswalk on Spruce Street. A small yellow fragment rests along the crack near the curb, while snow piles press the edge of the scene, grounding the image in late-winter street life. Acquired February 2026, this work anchors the street as a durable surface that carries duration within West Philadelphia's public realm.
