Curatorial note
Seen from the rear, the bumper's lower edge shows peeling paint and scuffing that extends along the panel. Since acquisition in January 2026, the piece has occupied the Wilder Street curb as a durable presence in North Philadelphia. The work anchors the curbside within the streetscape, preserving the material history of a vehicle left to endure.
