Curatorial note

Seen at midday, the Kissho House banner anchors the ground-floor brickwork while a lantern punctuates the doorway. Since acquiring January 2026, the work has occupied Callowhill Street as a durable feature of the streetscape, its presence reinforced by the blue car in the foreground. The togetherness of signage, light, and window rhythm marks the piece as a patient study of Philadelphia storefront permanence.
