Curatorial note

Seen from the curb on Mercer Street, the vertical paint drip at the center of the doors anchors the trailer as a durable, portable presence in the streetscape. Since acquisition in January 2026, it has occupied this curbside position for 112 days, a patient object in constant view. The surface marks and stickers register the trailer as a stubborn fragment of municipal logistics, a form that negotiates movement and occupancy without resolving either. The museum regards it as a succinct example within the collection of enduring urban infrastructures.
