Curatorial note
Seen in close proximity to the room’s edge, the work’s two square cutouts anchor the interior wall, with a yellow electrical wire visible in the lower aperture. Since January 2026, the piece has persisted in its room-tone stance, presenting a quiet record of ongoing maintenance in situ. The breaches situate the wall at the threshold between finished space and exposed infrastructure, a subtle anchor within the neighborhood collection.
