Curatorial note
From its position at the curb, the sedan anchors the winter streetscape as a patient, long-term installation. A plastic bottle lies in the snow near the rear wheel, a minor detail that underscores the debris that accompanies fixed objects at the edge of the roadway. Acquired February 2026, the work registers a persistent presence on Carpenter Lane, inviting a measured gaze at how everyday vehicles become landmarks in the urban margin.
