Curatorial note

From its position at the curb, the vehicle anchors the street in winter light as a durable, stationary form. The empty license-plate recess on the trunk lid marks absence as a formal attribute within the urban field. Since its acquisition in February 2026, this work has held a steady presence in the Belmar Street corridor.
