Curatorial note

Seen in the photograph, a mattress rests on a tilted gray platform amid snow in a front yard. Since acquisition in February 2026, the work has persisted at the Muhlfeld Street curb, its weight and form interrupting the rhythm of the porch and sidewalk. The car's shadow and the porch's white spindles anchor the composition, situating the object within the everyday friction of residential life.
