Curatorial note

Seen from the sidewalk, the dark SUV rests at the left foreground with an illegible license plate area, framed by a snow-mounded curb. Two black bins flank the vehicle, their shadows and the cold light grounding the curb as a stage for daily municipal life. Since February 2026, this curbside tableau has occupied the same stretch, a durable fragment of the neighborhood's recurring routines. This piece belongs to the South Philadelphia collection, where curbside memory persists as a form of urban presence.
