Curatorial note

Seen from the alley, the circular loop of cabling between the façades anchors the composition and foregrounds the friction between an older masonry storefront and a newer red-brick elevation. Above and between, the satellite dish and the web of wires map the infrastructure that surveils and feeds everyday street life. Acquired February 2026, this piece remains a record of durable, cross-cutting service lines that persist at this corner of North Philadelphia.
