Curatorial note
The roof ladder rack stretches across the van, catching the streetlight's glare and turning the vehicle into a portable scaffold within the curbscape. Since acquisition in February 2026, this curbside object has occupied this spot on Longshore Ave for 86 days, its surface picking up scratches and dirt from night exposure. Commissioned by the Police Department, the piece persists as a sanctioned street-facing installation within the collection.
