Curatorial note
Seen from the curb at 311 W Rockland St, the rear of a black hatchback absorbs reflections from brickwork and a chain-link fence. Snow along the lower edge and the weathered recess for the license plate document the piece's exposure to winter light and municipal context. Acquired February 2026, the work remains a continuous element of the street's ordinary surface, a patient record of a vehicle's long-term presence.
