Curatorial note
Seen at the curb on Bigler Street, the van’s roof ladder rack is loaded with long boards, anchoring the composition. Since its acquisition in January 2026, the work has stood as a durable presence on the street, visible to daily passersby and snow shadows. Commissioned by the Police Department, it remains a longitudinal anchor within the North Philadelphia collection.
