Curatorial note
The row of white bollards along the curb defines a pedestrian refuge at the Verree Road crossing. Since January 2026, the work has occupied the intersection as a durable element within the street’s fabric. The installation foregrounds pedestrian space in a residential corridor, turning a routine safety measure into a subtle sculptural presence in Philadelphia’s urban life.
