The work's rear bumper bears a shallow scuff along its lower edge, a detail that anchors the piece in the physical memory of the street. Since its acquisition in January 2026, the vehicle has occupied the Wilder Street curb, marking the threshold between sidewalk and roadway. Seen at street level, its stillness invites a close reading of urban remnants that persist beyond municipal cycles of repair, and this piece remains a durable part of the neighborhood collection.
