Curatorial note
From the left foreground, a black Mercedes with a roof rack anchors the curbside line of vehicles along Longshore Ave. The row extends toward a distant intersection beneath leafless trees and overhead wires. Acquired January 2026 and on view for 100 days, the piece remains a formal record of a residential streetscape. Within the Philadelphia collection, it contributes to a small suite of works documenting the persistence of everyday urban surfaces.
