Curatorial note
Seen from the curb at Princeton Avenue, the Ford emblem rests above a blue-tinged plate while a black rear window wiper crosses the glass. Since its acquisition in January 2026, the object has occupied the same curbside position, registering the persistence of street-level signage and mobility. Commissioned by the Police Department, the work stands as a longitudinal fragment of Philadelphia’s public infrastructure in daily life.
