Tow Line at Daylight, Street Side — South Philadelphia
Tow truck, flatbed, daytime context

Curatorial note
From the curb of a South Philadelphia street, the work's large white numerals across the tailgate anchor the composition. Since January 2026, this unit has occupied the street’s edge, visible beside a row of townhouses and a parked car. An orange beacon atop the cab and the broad flatbed foreground the machinery of urban mobility as a constant presence in the streetscape. This acquisition belongs to the museum's ongoing meditation on the ordinary apparatus that organizes Philadelphia's daily life.
