Curbside Vigil, Beechwood Street — North Philadelphia

Curatorial note

Seen from the dashboard, the leafless tree anchors the curbside composition as the blue SUV asserts the street’s scale. Since January 2026 the work has occupied this Beechwood Street block, registering the ordinary coexistence of private life and public infrastructure. The image foregrounds small domestic details—the bins, the fence, the parked vehicles—that collectively map duration and stillness in the Philadelphia streetscape.
