Curatorial note
Seen from the dash of a passing car, a light-colored SUV occupies the curbside frame, its rear end centered in the photograph. A license plate is visible on the tailgate, though its digits are not transcribed here. Since January 2026, the vehicle has remained a quiet presence at this edge of North Philadelphia. The museum notes that duration and positioning along a transit edge are central to its formal argument.
