Curatorial note
Seen at midday, the blue recycling bins behind a chain-link fence anchor the composition and mark a boundary between street life and service yard. Since its acquisition in January 2026, the work has settled into the block’s routine of curbside storage and municipal logistics. The museum notes this piece as part of a broader examination of infrastructural persistence in Philadelphia’s residential streets.
