Police Department, est. 2026

Curatorial note
Seen at night, the left-front damage against the utility pole anchors the scene as a threshold between motion and stillness. Since January 2026 the image has occupied a curbside presence at 6050 N 12th St, framed by a tall fence and streetlight that render the event legible in the North Philadelphia streetscape. The museum treats this work as a durable record of ongoing urban life, preserving the material state of the vehicle and its immediate surroundings as a fixed residue of a momentary collision.
