Curatorial note

Seen from below, the hanging electrical fixture bears a label reading LED 30, suspended from the pole amid a tangle of bare branches. Acquired January 2026 and on view for 113 days, the work positions a routine utility feature as a long-standing presence in the alley. The museum notes that this near-silent object reframes the ordinary into a form of urban duration, occupying the threshold between utility and landscape in South Philadelphia.
