Curatorial note

Seen at the left edge, the textured stucco wall curves into the frame, its surface mottled with weathering. A wheeled cart sits near the yard’s center, its metal frame catching light behind the chain-link fence. Since acquisition in January 2026, the corner has remained in place, quietly documenting the alley’s improvised infrastructure. The work anchors the Parrish Street landscape as a durable fragment of everyday urban life.
