The Long Stand, Brunswick Ave Site — Northeast Philadelphia
Automotive, stationary, beige exterior, two-tone stripe
Police Department, est. 2026
114 days on view
Curatorial note
Seen from the curb, the cream motorhome anchors the edge of a water-bordered verge, its rounded silhouette set against a line of rectangular windows. Since January 2026 and with 114 days on view, the object has remained a durable feature of the streetscape, a portable domestic form that endures in place. Commissioned by the Police Department, the work frames an unresolved urban condition as a static sculpture within the neighborhood's landscape.
