From the photograph, the chalk outline frames a circular dark opening at its center, set within a network of surface cracks. Since January 2026 the work has occupied the curbside foreground at 2847 N Marvine St, a persistent presence in the street texture. The rectangle's precise geometry against the irregular pavement marks a meditation on duration and urban materiality in North Philadelphia.
