Curbside Vigil, Fountain Street — Manayunk

Curatorial note

Seen along Fountain Street in Manayunk, the sedan anchors the curb at the base of a rocky embankment. A thin frost covers the roof and trunk, turning the vehicle’s surface into a quiet mirror of the winter light and surrounding geology. Since January 2026, the work has persisted in place, inviting contemplation of ordinary objects as long-duration presences within the urban fabric.
