The Road May Flood sign on the utility pole foregrounds the scene, setting a formal counterpoint to the line of parked cars. Since its acquisition in January 2026, the work has anchored Germantown East's streetscape as a patient study of curbside time and material surfaces. The image's winter light and the arrangement of the sign and brick façades create a quiet tableau that invites attention to the ordinary duration of city life.
