The Long Stand, Curbside — Paschall

Curatorial note

Seen on a Paschall curb, the pickup's two-tone body and rectangular matte black hood panel anchor the composition at the street's edge. Since its acquisition in January 2026, the work has remained in place for over four months, registering the block's ordinary rhythms. The chrome emblem on the grille and the front fascia foreground a quotidian infrastructural object within the museum's Paschall collection.
