Alley Sentinel, Between Brick Walls — Tacony

Curatorial note

The central evergreen tree anchors the composition, rising between brick façades as the axis of the scene. Seen at night, the narrow passage between the two rows of housing emphasizes the threshold where private frontages meet shared urban space. Commissioned by the Community Life Improvement Program and acquired December 2025, the work registers as a quiet longitudinal presence in Tacony. It invites attention to the rhythms of maintenance and neighborhood life.
