Seen in the foreground, a pile of conifer branches extends across dark soil beside the curb, its green needles catching winter light. The urban debris, framed by a nearby trash receptacle and distant parked cars, situates a routine maintenance moment within the Kensington West streetscape. Since its acquisition in December 2025, the work has anchored the daily choreography of parks and rec safety operations in this corner of the neighborhood.
