Curbside Assembly, Front Stoop — East Passyunk

Curatorial note

Seen from the curb, a blue tarpaulin covers a heap of dimensional lumber occupying the front yard of a brick rowhouse in East Passyunk. Since acquisition in December 2025, the work has functioned as a material register of ongoing maintenance, transforming a routine curbside accumulation into a longitudinal study of streetscape endurance. The wooden stack behind the ornamental fence anchors the composition to the street’s everyday material life and to the neighborhood’s front-yard idiom.
