Seen at night, the blue sedan sits diagonally across the lane, its silhouette cutting the flow of traffic as a cluster of figures gathers nearby. Across 125 days on view, the work has persisted as a stubborn presence in the street, its position illuminated by a halo of streetlight and headlight glow. The museum notes that this piece anchors the Germantown, Southwest streetscape as a long-duration installation.
